Herriot’s Kitchen has become a firm favourite with Upper Wensleydale residents and visitors alike, priding ourselves on using freshly supplied, top quality local produce. Serving a selection of light lunches, refreshments and Yorkshire cream teas, complemented with home-baked cakes (a sample café Menu can be viewed here, Herriot’s Kitchen makes the ideal starting point for your visit to the area, and the perfect finishing venue to relax.
Herriot’s Kitchen, in just over 12 months of new ownership, has, not only been registered as a contender in the 2012 ‘Flavours of Herriot Country Awards’ which celebrates quality food and drink throughout the district, but has become a finalist in the competition, thanks to the commitment to food from Liz, with Glenn running the café.
Preserves made in Herriot’s Kitchen are available to purchase direct from us and we now supply our cakes, biscuits, preserves & chutneys to the National Park Centres at Grassington and Malham with the Dales Countryside Museum in Hawes taking our preserves and chutneys.
We have now been chosen by Trike Tours to supply gourmet hampers or packed lunches for their trips around the Dales.
Herriot’s Kitchen is open Tuesdays and week-ends until Easter, then everyday except Wednesdays & Thursdays.
